WHY DO I NEED TYRE WARRANTY ?
As our roads get busier, tyre damage gets ever more common. 5,000 motorists surveyed by AA Ireland, felt that tyre damage was the most likely fallout of a run-in with poorly maintained roads. Plus untimely run ins with nails, road debris are hazards faced everyday.
If you don't have tyre cover for your car, this means a costly repair at best and, at worst, a new tyre - especially frustrating if the damaged one still has thousands of miles of wear left on it.
HOW DO I GET A TYRE WARRANTY ?
When you purchace a Tyre(s) from Top Service or from one of our partners, a tyre warranty will be created automatically. Warranties are FREE and we will provide it for a period of one year for each tyre from the date of purchase
HOW CAN I CLAIM TYRE WARRANTY ?
- Visit the Top Service Outlet Where You Bought your Tyre(s).
- Present the receipt recieved on purchase date.
- Once inspected your warranty case will be assesed
- Accidental damage - sudden and unforeseen deflation or other damage to the tyre itself, or the valve, which requires the immediate repair or replacement before normal use can be resumed.
- Malicious Damage. Deflation or damage to the insured tyre or the valve caused intentionally by a third party, which requires a repair or a replacement before normal use can be resumed. In order to claim against malicious damage, you must report the incident to the Garda Station / Police and provide a crime reference number at the time of making a claim.
- Once approved your tyre will be repaired or replaced with the same make and variant as originaly supplied by Top Service.
- Your vehicle will be covered only in the 32 Counties of Ireland
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THE TYRE WARRANTY ?
- Tyres below the EU legal limit of tread depth or any tyres that are not dot marked or where there has been an attempt to remove the serial number or other identifying marks from the tyre.
- Any malicious damage not accompanied by a valid and substantiated crime reference number, including fire and theft.
- Private hire, driving tuition vehicles (including any other professional instruction), taxis, and chauffeuring vehicles used for hire or reward.
- Vehicles used for competition or any competitive events. Off-road use, motor rallying, motor racing, pace-making, speed or duration tests (or any practice for these events), or track day events, regardless of whether they are timed or untimed.
- Commercial and agricultural vehicles.
RETURNS
All purchases made at TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE can be returned within 14 days of the order. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in the original packaging, and in the same condition as received. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team with your order number and reason for return. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 days of receiving the returned item.
Payment of the cost of returning purchased products will be made by the customer directly to TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE, who will consequently release the customer from any obligation to pay the carrier. TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE will deduct from the refund an amount equal to the cost of shipping the products purchased. Below is the cost of transport for the different types of products if you use the carrier recommended by TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE. Furthermore, from the moment of delivery of the products purchased to the carrier appointed by TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE, the customer is released from all liability in the event of loss or damage to the products during transport. The customer may be held liable if they have not exercised due care when handing over the products, for example if they have returned the products in packaging unsuitable for transport.
If the customer obtains a quotation from a major international carrier for transport to the point of delivery of the returned product indicated by TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE for an amount lower than that provided for in the following provisions, TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE shall match this price. TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE will match this price under the following conditions:
Before proceeding with the product return, the customer must contact TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE via the contact form, via the site, or by another means clearly indicating the price applied by the carrier, providing the URL link allowing access to this information;
The customer must indicate the details of the transport, as well as the delivery lead time, which must not exceed that of TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE
TOP SERVICE TYRE STORE will then organise the collection and match the return costs. The customer will be refunded the cost of the product, less the cost of return, as indicated by the carrier concerned.
